Thomas,
I can't remember where the RTL settings sit in registry off the top of my head. Perhaps Google would give you more info on the
subject.
Just in case, check if your image configuration got "Microsoft Agent 2.0 Core Components" component.
How do other bidi apps work on your image? Is the issue only exposed in your app?
Also, it is always a good option to launch your app through DependencyWalker tool (Profile) to see if any dll is missing on the
image.
Another option is to see and resolve all the failures if you monitor your app launch with a tools like Regmon (sysinternals.com).
You can always compare the logs you get from the tools with the same logs retrieved on XP Pro machine.

Hi KM,
Have you got any link or hint for me where to find these settings?
On XP Pro everything is working as expected. Using the same settings on XP
embedded, all hebrew texts are left to right. Maybe there is an option hidden
in one of the numerous option windows I've forgotten to set.

Thomas

There are definitely some system related settings for left-to-right and right-to-left options.
However, first thing to ask is how the same app works on XP Pro with the right language support added?
