M. Fernahl,
"swap file size"? Usually the pagefile (swap file) is created or changed in size at the system boot time and it doesn't change
during a session (unless certain APIS are called).
Are you referring to something else? E.g., virtual memory commit charge or paged/non-paged pool?
Please keep in mind that EWF RAM is mostly allocating from paged memory for its growing overlay.

Hello
my XPe configuration uses a CF card with a partition c: 600MB and a
partition d: 400MB both NTFS formated. Partition C: is protected by the ewf
in reg ram mode. The swap file is disabled. RAM size is 256MB.
Now i get a strange effect. If i start xpe and run just the taskmanager to
monitor the swap file size and let the system run in this configuration for
24 hours the swap file size is rising by about 1MB per hour and the physical
memory is decreasing by about the same amount. I can not find the process
that is causing this effect.
Why does the taskmanager shows a swap file size that is about 80MB after the
system starts when the swap file is disabled by default? And why can this
size get even bigger? Has anyone else had this effect before? What can i do
to solve this problem?
