Re: Five minutes of hourglass on desktop startup

WinXPe SP1 system. Starts OK. Running as kernel debugger target. No
complaints on kernel debugger windbg.exe window. Desktop appears
normally, but hourglass is displayed and remains for approximately five
minutes. Clicks and keystrokes buffered but ignored until five minutes
goes by. For example, CTRL+ALT+DEL ignored but at five minute point
results in Task Manager pop-up. How can I resolve what WinXPe is
waiting for? Thanks.

Problem was absence of swap file. After creating min 100Mb max 200Mb
swap file on compact flash, startup delay was eliminated. Thanks.
