I'm having some difficulty setting the display resolution settings for

settings manually). My system is running on a Via Epia ML Mini-itx
board. I've included the graphics driver in my image (Via UniChrome
display driver) and have configured the display resolution in this
component.

When booting, I get a resolution of 1024x768 instead of my configured
800x600.

The fbalog shows the following lines. I have searched online for a
definition of the VModes line, but have found nothing. I am assuming
that the VModes line is resetting the resolution to 1024x768, even
though the ChangeDisplaySettings line changed the resolution to my
desired 800x600.

Any advice would be appreciated!
