Re: SQL Express

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

The normal one from the download site should work. Can you please raise this
issue in the beta newsgroup (sign up for access to the NG at the FP2007
connect site)? You can also file a bug at the connect site with as much
detail of the problem or error as possible.

Thanks Peter

Hi Andy

Yes i have added the component..

Do i have to have a special version of SQL Express or will the normal
downloaded from the MS site do?

Did you use the SQL Express macro component in the Feature Pack 2007 tech
preview we recently uploaded? This should include all the dependencies
you need to install SQL Express. If you haven't signed up to get the
build, here's the details:

Anybody have any experience with running SQL express on XPe.

I am able to install it but it fails with unknown exception at boot.

I have been fighting with this for the last couple of days and it is
driving me crazy..

Any input will be appreciated.

/Peter
