Re: Problem running FBA on exiting image using M-Sys uDoc

The boot time will be too long. The problem lies with the BIOS not
supporting USB 2.0 boot.

Hi Sean,

The USB is 1.1 color is green. I had some feeling about his. What will
boot
time be like compared to HDD using this on 1.1?

Thanks

Mark

What color is the LED flashing? If green you have USB 1.1 boot and it
will
take some time to load. If orange, then you have USB 2.0 boot and there
is
something that is missing.

Hi,

I have a working image that we currently run on HDD.
I have recently acquired a sample of a USB uDoc from M-sys.

I have stepped thru the AP_DOC-1304 app note adding the USB uDiskOnChip
component to my existing image. I have rebuilt this and copied to the
partitioned device. I have not employed EWF and I am testing with a
single
partition. FBA starts only to the point where I see the bar across the
black
screen. It seems to stall here. The LED on the uDoc pulsing as if it is
doing something.

I am looking for suggestions as to what it might be doing or other
steps
I
need to take and may have missed.

Thank you
