Maverick,
Try this method from an earlier post by Brad Combs:
Create a component that has the following registry data:
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Colors\Background with a value of '0 0 0'
(without quotes).
Add a build order dependency on Windows API-User.
Your default background color should be black on the next build.
