Did you run TAP with the card connected via that PCMCIA slot? It might need a different driver there, and if it's not got that driver in the build, that would cause a problem...Hi everyone,
I have an XPE iamge that works fine on harddisks, and if I restore it on a PCMCIA card, I am able to boot into Windows if the card is in an adapter which I can then connect to the device via IDE. (that is, I am treating it as though it is a hard disk)
However, if I use the same card and plug it into the PCMCIA slot and try to boot up my device, I get an error while starting Windows. The bios supports booting up via PCMCIA cards. The error occurs after the Windows logo appears, but before I can reach login. I have tried to look for some answers by searching the newsgroup, but I am still confused.
Must I build a separate image if I want to be able to boot into XP embedded from the PCMCIA slot?
Many thanks for your patience. My mind is all muddled up now :(
