Looking to improve WinPE improvements

Hi all,

New to WinPE, and using it on a project to 'build' the OS and implant
apps on 900 machines. It works, just takes a long time (about 3
hours), and since we have to enter several pieces of info along the
way, early in the build, and at the end, if anything goes wrong, it
messes up that particular install. We also use EMS and DRA.

One thing I'd like to see is that when we boot up a machine to be
imaged, the asset tag displays on the screen, and then we have to
re-enter it as the computer name field, along with other information.

Since this info exists in the BIOS, does anyone know how to get the
asset tag from the BIOS, and parse that into another field?
