My test.slx was working just fine until this morning. I double clicked on the test.slx file to make some modifications and I received the following error message in a Microsoft Target Designer pop up screen:

An error occurred while opening file C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\test.slx
Code 0x8004232b
Description = An internal CMI error occurred. For more information see the application event log.

The application event log gave the following error:

Source CMI
Event ID 1
The CMI encountered the following error 0x8004232b (-2147212501) Method from file failed.

Can any one decipher these error codes? Is there any way to salvage my runtime image?
