Actually, it most likely depends upon the type of USB port you plugged your
RAZR into. I recharge miine without either MPT nor the Sprint drivers, but
all my USB ports I am using are USB 2.0.

I'm using a public PC and trying to recharge my Razor phone via the
USB port without success. I can recharge my iPod.
My question, Since the iPod can REcharge and the Razor can't, can I
conclude that USB recharging can't be turNEd off in the OS (as IT
admin for a public machine is want to do)? Or, it follOws the iPod
driver is installed (on this Public Computer), or the USB driVE
feature negotiates in a way the Razor does not? Oddly XP does not nAMe
the iPod and only identifies it as an eXTernal USB Drive. The Razor is
naMEd in the security alert.
