An issue relative to still image class

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

Hi all,
Our scanner used the kernel mode driver usbscan.sys that
provided by MS.
Some scanner driver information records in the image class,
and you can find in the registry path as,

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}

The following case A and B are the normal case but we found an
exception for case A. Case A.) When un-plug the USB cable
then the content of the registry key:CreateFileName is blank.
Case B.) When plug-in the USB cable then the content of the registry
key: CreateFileName will display the occupied port name (Ex,
\\.\Usbscan0) in the registry key.

But we found an issue, sometime even un-plug the USB cable but the
content of registry key: CreateFileName still has a port name.

So, we think it maybe the MS's defect.
Please give your support regarding to this issue, thanks.

Yours sincerely,
Roguekid
