Having unsuccessfully tried to install a scanner in
Windows XP with CD provided by manufacturer, I have given
this up and there is no Imaging Device on my PC. But I
have 12 'ghost' "unknown device" in Imaging Devices. How
can I get rid of them? I've tried Safe Mode and Power
Cycle as suggested by the manufacturer, but all to no
avail.
