I recently had major problems and had to wipe my
harddrive and re-partition and install XP Pro. Now my
computer makes no sound. In the device manager I see
there is no driver installed for my sound device(does
that mean speakers?) I understand I should be able to
find drivers online but don't know how to search for the
right one. Could someone point me in the right direction
to to fix this?
My computer is an HP paviilion with XP Pro. The speakers
are just Polk Audio that came with the computer.
Thanks
carpetguy
