I am dumb founded with this registry stuff.
This is what I see after doing what you said to find.
Left coloumn of Registry
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\Open with Ulead Photo Explorer\command
On the right side of of registry is listed Name column (Default),Type
REG_SZ,
Data C:\Program files\ulead systems\ulead photo explorer 7.0\Pex.exe “%L”
What is it I am to export? the files on the left column? or this default
REG_SZData C:\Program files\ulead systems\ulead photo explorer 7.0\Pex.exe
“%L” that is located on the right hand column ?
And where do I export to? Do I make a file for whatever I need to export ?
This is confusing?
Any help please

I'm going to try to teach you to edit the registry..
People get too carried away with the dangers of
manually editing the registry. It is perfectly
safe if you follow some basic rules.
- Never delete unless you know that it's OK to.
- Always export to the desktop so you can restore.
You want to remove the "open with Ulead Photo explorer"
command from the right-click of a drive. You have to
delete the registry entry that contains that command.
Here's how to find it:
1. Open the Run box and enter: regedit
2. Click on "Edit" and then "Find".
3. Enter: pex.exe
4. Uncheck all boxes, except "Data".
5. Click the "Find Next" button.
6. You should stop on something like this:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\Ulead\command]
C:\Program Files\ . . . \pex.exe
7. You want to EXPORT then delete the whole key
that looks something like this:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\Ulead]
open with Ulead Photo explorer
8. The effect is immediate No need to reboot.
9. Right-click on a drive to confirm it's gone.
If you make a mistake, just double-click or
right-click and merge into the registry the
backup you exported.
If you need more help, please ask. Good luck!

There should be a subkey here:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell]
Check these too:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell]
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell]

I have no clue what I did wrong but if I click on My computer and then right
click on the hard drive or the dvd-rom or dvd-writer the list shows, Explore,
open, open with Ulead Photo explorer, search etc. etc. The open with Ulead
Photo explorer is the problem . That should not be opening any of these.
How do I change this so that the open with option can choose what program I
want these to open with? I also noticed where ever the windows part that
allows you to choose to pick which program to view dvd or list to cd the the
sliding arrow thing will be stuck and can not move up or down to get to the
list of programs that can view or listen to dvd or cd.
I have windows xp media center edition 2002 SP2
