If I go to a website, and right click on an image to set as background, this
applies the image to the background as it should do. However on computer
reboot, or even tidying up the icons (refreshing on the desktop), means that
the background picture disappears replaced by a blue background. When I click
on properties it says I have a modified theme. Only way around this is
applying the Windows XP theme and then going back into properties to select
the picture again. This doesn't happen from saved pictures but from pictures
that are saved as background from the internet. This never used to happen
before. Is there some setting that is out of sync. This isn't a vital problem
but pretty annoying.

Only thing I can think of is that I have had a couple of system recoverys
which has messed up the file structure somewhat, is it pointing the wallpaper
to the wrong folder and losing it when I refresh/reboot?

Hi,

If you right-click the desktop => Properties => Desktop tab => Web tab
is the web image listed? Check the 'Synchronize' button and the box,
'Lock desktop items' and see if it makes a difference.
