Okay, there are a few variations. Look at the path below. In my case, 11.0
refers to Office2003. If you have OfficeXP (2002), that number will be
10.0. You need to go one folder past the registration. Your numbers may be
different than mine. Also you may have multiple keys under the Registration
folder so you need to make sure the folder you go into is your product. You
can read all the information to verify this. Once your in the correct
folder, the two keys are listed below:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Registration\{90110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9}
ProductID =
DigitalProductID =
Delete these two keys. Before doing so, you should export this entire
content to you harddrive so that you can restore it later if it does not
work.
After deletion, open any Office product. I opened Word.

Right!
I goggled the question too. Found out the method used to change the key,
but it won't work either.
Basically you delete two keys in the registry, then open any MS Office
product. It will prompt you for the new key. In my case, it say that my
key is invalid (which it is not). So I had to restore the two registry
keys as before.

It retrieves the Office key, doesn't allow you to change it, I don't see
anywhere on the page where it says it will.

Maybe we should do them for false advertising, since it distinctly
states that it works for Office 2003, which is what you were asking
for.
