Re: Speed up Win XP Logo
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
Hi tntlakers:
On a malware-free PC, the length of time for Windows to start is most
heavily influenced by the other software that loads with Windows.

Hi guys,
My laptop and my PC show the Win XP logo for about 11-14 seconds after I
turn them on. After that they both load fine as I don't have any programs
starting at star-up.
The PC's at work show the Win Xp logo for about 4-6 seconds...
Some of my PC's main components:
Opteron 146 @2.9ghz
Asus A8n Sli Deluxe
Raptor 74gb 10K
2gb or OCZ RAM
Any tweak I can do on my systems to shorten the length of showing the XP
logo or is this pretty much a normal average time?
