At work, I share a computer with other people. I use Outlooks reminders for
various things. Outlook sends an audible alarm when required. The problem
is that when the other user mutes the volume control, it stays muted even
when I log in. I frequently forget to un-mute the volume, so I miss the
alarm.

Is there a simple way to modify my startup, at login, to un-mute and
maximize volume, I am not an administrator, but an IT administrator will do
as I ask if it is not detrimental to other users. She told me that she does
