Screen Saver May Not Start in Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;326719
Posting from another user by the name of David:
”I figured out what the problem is. It's the Microsoft Wireless Mouse. If I switch the mouse to one with a tail the screensaver works.”
then David posted again
”I got a fix. I changed to connection to the computer using the USB to PS2 adapter that came with the mouse. Now I get the screensaver. I would be interested to find out why this works.”

Hi
my screensaver does not activate automatically although it worked fine at
some point. I can see it working just fine in the preview under "control
panel", and the time is properly set up. I tried some patches from the
"Kelly's corner" website, but it didn't work. I also tried to set up time to
one minute, with windows "flying objects" screen saver (a basic one), nothing
happened. Could it be a program running on the back that I don't see? I have
windows XP, with Norton internet security, and I use a notebook.
Thanks for your help!
Carole
