Yet Another CD Drive Gone Missing ... I run XP SP2 on my PC and my CD drive has gone missing. ... doesn't show up in "My Computer" and Device Manager has ...incomplete or damaged ". ...uninstall an old version of Ahead ... (microsoft.public.windowsxp.general)
Re: Network Disappears after SP2 installed ... but SP2 has also renamed it so it does not appear ...Network diagnostics show it as 'FAILED' when scanned. ... from device manager as it says it may be needed to boot the system. ... you'll have to change the permissions on the registry ...
