Thanks. That doesn't work. It only uninstalls the mouse itself, NOT the driver software. When I try to install Intellipoint 5, for example, it finds the prior version - tries to uninstall it - fails, and aborts. I REALLY need to know how to rid my system of any and ALL prior mouse software so I can re-install the current stuff. I DO appreciate your willingness to help, however!

I'm trying to upgrade my mouse, and driver software, but am unable to, due to the inability to UNINSTALL the prior drivers . (See attached screen shot) The system is running WinXP Pro SR2, with all current updates. I'd prefer NOT to have to reinstall from scratch (I DID reinstall using the "upgrade" path - to no avail) since there are about forty apps involved.
Has anyone any thoughts on how I might clear out the Intellipoint stuff that's there so I can install the version I need?
Thanks
