Run program (or script) at RE-login after hybernate?

I have a laptop that, as is usual, isn't the easiest thing to get the
screen colors, gamma, brightness and contrast set. I've somewhat "fixed"
this by setting my base colors for the adpater, but to get the gamma
boosted so I can actually tell 40% gray from 80% gray, I've loaded Adobe
Gamma. I've set it to my liking, saved the ICM file, and placed the loader
in my start-up folder. It works great.
A problem occurs after hybernating. The gamma settings are forgotten. Upon
resuming and getting to the Welcome Screen (Secure Desktop), I click on
the User ID noted as "Logged In" and enter my password. I am transferred
to the existing User desktop, as would be expected.
But, this action does not run anything in the Startup folder. Since my
gamma settings were lost at the hybernation event, I'm back to a really
dark screen. I am wondering if there is a registry entry that equates to
"Run this program when RE-logging in after hybernate." Or even one along
the lines of "Run this program during fast user switching when switching
to a user already logged in."
I'd prefer a registry entry, but I can put together a script to run the
gamma loader if I must (security concerns make me hesitate to do that,
though). If a script is my only answer, where do I place it, what are the
attributes supposed it be (Hidden, System, etc.) and what do I name it?
BTW, the gamma loader is a run-and-terminate program, which is why the
settings are lost and not recovered. It adjusts the pixel strengths in the
card one time, then terminates. When the card loses power, those
adjustments are lost. Running the loader again at RE-login time will not
result in 2 copies of the program in memory. I just thought I throw this
out in case it helps with any sugestions...
Thanks,
Frisco
