Search for "user accounts" in Windows Help and Support. There is a ton of
information there. You can also pick up one of the many very good books at
your local bookstore regarding the use of Windows XP. Just browse the
computer section of the store and you'll find dozens of books.
Personally, I don't use any accounts, passwords or profiles on any of my
systems. It is my experience that they cause more problems than just about
anything else you can imagine. I have never set up any of my systems with a
Windows Logon password and I've been working with computers for years. The
user accounts and user profiles features of Windows XP are one of those
ideas that looks great on paper, but is a nightmare in the real world.
