Look in the item list. There are choices for icons. Not only size but spacing. As well, you will see many options for icons in things like right click start, then click propeties then click the start menu tab and then the customize button and then you have a choice for large or small icons. When you set your resolution to 1280 X 1024 as I have you can also right click on the desktop and then click properties and then the settings tab and then the advanced button down the lower right and change your DPI as I did. Mine is set to %125 which works best for me. Sizing fonts on the web page while browsing is as simple as holding down the ctrl button when you are on a web page and then rolling your mouse wheel up or down to increase or decrease their size.
