Hi John
3GB for a primary XP partition isn't enough - an initial XP install can up that amount when the pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys files are taken into consideration. Where did you get your info. from? A better size is 7-10GBs. If you want to extend the primary partition, a 3rd party program, such Partition Magic, will help you:

Is there a (safe) utility that allows this or do I have to delete and reinstall everything. My system partition is 3GB, 50% more than recommended by Microsoft, but I am continually hitting is limits. > > Many thanks for any help > > John S --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
