Ah, I see what you're saying now. This feature was often seen on laptops a
few years back. The desktop was displayed as a "window" that extended past
the boundaries of the monitor. Some renditions of this type of desktop
included scrollbars at the edges of the desktop to guide you into those
extended areas.
Well, shoot. Now I know what you mean but I don't know of any stand alone
programs that can accomplish the same thing. All of the ones that I have
seen like this - the capability was built-in to the display driver.
