Hi there,

Since you said that you think it's some kind of virus,
I'm assuming that you don't have any anti-virus
software... GET SOME!!! That would be step number one.
Symantec products sit very high on my list. If you're
willing to spend the money, get yourself a copy of Norton
Internet Security. It comes with Anti-Virus, spam-
blocker, and a firewall that is relatively easy to set up.

Step two would be to get anti adware/spyware programs
(yes programs). There are many good freeware programs out
there.

Ad-Aware
www.lavasoftusa.com

Spybot Search&Destroy
www.safer-networking.org

Those are the two that I usually use, but after you've
got those, updated them, and scanned for problems, check
these boards for a bigger list.
