Mouse activation

Right-click on My Computer and select Properties.

Under the hardware tab, select Device Manager.

Expand the menu for "Mice and other pointing devices" and
double-click on the mouse that is there (whichever one
you're using).

Under the Power Management tab, remove the check mark
beside "Allow this device to bring the computer out of
Standby".
