That file would not download, but I did find an
appropriate fix elsewhere on the site - however - it ONLY
restored thumbnail view for html files, and NOT files
ending in .htm - which is approx. 1,000 files vs. 25, so I
am essentially in the same place I started.
Whatever fix this was came as an executable, so there is
no way for me to know what was done to the registry to fix
the html files. I'm thinking all I need is that exact same
thing, only indicating show .htm files as well.
I can edit the registry as long as I know where and what
to edit, so if someone could help point me in the right
direction, I would be most appreicative.
Thanks again for pointing me to the Fix Site. As I said,
that particular file you pointed me to appears to be the
ONLY file that would not download on the entire site (LOL)
which probably fixed all of these problems, so I had to
settle for the "restore html thumbnail" under Quick Fixes.
Anyway, I'm getting desperate, so thanks in advance for
any help.
