[HJ]s message :
Hello everyone,

Is there a way to add shortcuts to the sidebar on the left-hand side of the Open File dialog box? By default, I see My Recent Documents, Desktop, My Documents, My Computer, and My Network to the left of the current directory. How would I add, say, Program Files to that set of five shortcuts?

You cant change them but you can replace them :

- - Windows Home/Pro - -
1. Download and install TweakUI *
2. Open it.
3. Left Side, Expand "Common Dialogs" then click "Places Bar"
4. Right side, select "Custom Places Bar" radio button then choose the item from the drop-down list. You can enter a folder path by typing in the box.
5. Click OK

"Windows Components",
"Windows Explorer",
"Common Open File Dialog"
4. Right side, double click "Item displayed in Places Bar".

* NOTE: You have to enter paths in all five(or the Save as box will look weird) and dont use quotes around path.
