Go to http://www.snapfiles.com/get/msconfigcleanup.html and download
MSCONFIG CLEANUP, the simplest tool that removes disabled startup entries
from MSCONFIG.

Win98/ME it was simplicity its self (there was a simple option to
remove unused start-up programs) but XP doesn't supply this option.
