Printer message in system tray

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hi there,

Since I carried out a clean install on this machine, I have started getting
little 'pop-up' messages attached to the printer icon in the system tray. I
have never had this before on several XP machines. It must be an option I
have overlooked. The message tells me that the printjob has been sent, which
printer it was sent to and the address of the document file and much more.
Like most of Microsoft's help messages, it is 100% factually correct but is
about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Can anybody point me to the option
to turn this annoyance off?

Many thanks.
