ira1.tmp looks like a temporary file not a dll file. ira1.dll would be a
dll file.

ira1.tmp is probably some sort of malware.

Clean out the temporary folder: C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Update whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.

You might want to start in Safe Mode to run your antivirus and anti-spyware
software.

Running a full system antivirus scan or anti-spyware scan in Safe Mode can
be a good idea. Some viruses and other malware like to conceal themselves
in areas Windows protects while using them. Safe mode will prevent those
applications access and therefore unprotect the viruses or other malware
allowing for easier removal.

Hi,

After re-installing Windows XP on my old computer on a different drive
(old C-drive removed), the following error message appears:

The application or DLL C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\ira1.tmp is not a
valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette

The comuter does not auto-update over the net, slows to a crawl and
freezes from time to time.
Re-installing Windows does not help - same error remains.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Kairon
