I tried the repair install - much better, but still odd things happening.

I eventually opted for a clean install - much better, but so many small
things
to get up to date.

Today (the third day) I have resur(rected)faced.

You're welcome, Pat. When changing a motherboard, I always repair install.
I once lost an entire setup from a failed boot after a motherboard
replacement. Never again. Well, at least not for that reason ;)
