KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR

My wife and I have been getting the blue screen with KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
(see below) error message when I perform virus scan, install Windows updates,
moving/copying files using Windows Explorer or sometime when we are simply
browsing the web on our laptop. I checked Knowledgebase article 293857. It is
the closest article I can find but I don't think it really applies to my
problem. I think the problem is related to the hard drive but I doubt it is
the problem with the hard drive itself. Because once I booted up Windows in
Safe Mode. I was able to move/copy a lot of files using Windows Explorer with
no problem. No hardware was installed recently. No software was install
recently except MSN Messenger 7.5 was installed on 8/29/05. I checked the
BIOS for the laptop. There is no memory options to disable. Does anyone have
any suggestion to resolve this problem?
