Now the two 80GB and teh 500GB SATA drives are up and runnign smooth.
just minor problems originating from MSN Messenger and Googles Deskbar.

Things are really looknig up.

It seems that errors concerning symbols files are best dealt with by
reinstalling all software causing troubles, OS inculded.
