Hi,
I've got a serious problem with my modem.
It seems that the modem won't communicate with the port.
When I try to set up a connection I simply get an error message 633 :
"The port is in use or not configured". I looked it already up in the
database but it seems that only NT users know this problem and have a
solution that doesn't help me (updating NT 4.0).
The modem drivers are allright and uptodate. Windows says also that there
are NO conflicts in my configuration.
So, I'm wondering where the problem is.
Here are other facts about my Computer which I judged relevent for this
problem.
I've got an Medion MD6100 mobile Pc with an intern "Lucent_modem 56k" and I
recently configurated my pc for Novell networks. My OS is Windows XP home
edition, french, service pack 1.

I'm looking forward for any replies in that matter.
Thank you,
Bart
