Yesterday my computer locked up and and I was forced to
shut off the machine and re-start.

Upon re-start, all of my desktops settings and
configurations were gone and replaced by something
different. I tried all of the instructions and
methodologies on how to re-configure the desktop. Once I
click Apply and OK, the computer will not accept any
changes, and reverts back to the settings shown after the
re-start.

I cannot get E-mail, as the computer says there is a
problem with Outlook.

It seems as if I am starting all over again to set up the
computer, however, the machine will not accept anything I
want to do.

HELP!
