    I suspect we started with too small a partition for XP (2
    Gig is too small?) and have been moving our accumulated
    files & programs off to our D drive partition. It looks
    like someone just downloaded something too large for XP to
    work around and I think its pretty well hung.

    I also suspect I'm going to have to reformat our harddrive
    and reload XP (all the while kicking myself for not taking
    regular backups...of course!)
        
    Does anyone know of another way around this or, if not,
    reasonable partition sizes for XP on a C drive?

    ...Linux is starting to look pretty good about now!
