How many USB ports do you have on your PC. Are they at the back of the case
or on the front? Do you have a separate PCI USB card in your PC.

Examples: I have 2 USB ports on my Notebook, with 1 USB Root Hub showing in
the Device Manager.

Desktop: I have 2 USB ports on the rear of my motherboard and 2 USB ports
on the front of the case. I have 1 USB Root Hub for each in the Device
Manager. In the Desktop I also have a PCI USB2.0 card... and the Device
Manager shows 1 Root Hub for EACH USB port.
