Re: adobe flash d/l

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

well, now it seems to be downloading properly; it's taking some 3-4 minutes,
not the 10 seconds it did the prior attempts. if not, i'll post again, if
so, this thread will be done - thanks again. it's odd as the only thing
different is i did open the spyware blaster>tools, but the box was not
checked !

hope you all had a nice weekend

have a new issue; in trying to view some videos on cnn & msnbc.com,
it says i need adobe flash player, so i follow the onscreen
instructions but it's not working.

i have clicked on download, then the yellow bar pops open, which i
click on & say yes, then "run" on the next window, but nothing
happens. have tried it w/ the browser open, then closed & nothing.

i go to their support center, & it says to use their uninstaller,
which i do, then start fresh, & all that's in the add/remove is the
reader 9.1 & adobe air.

any ideas ?

In your other thread, you mentioned you have SpywareBlaster. Go into
Tools and then Flash Killer. You should see a box next to "Disable and
block Macromedia (or Adobe) Flash in Internet Explorer." Is it checked?
If yes, uncheck it!
