the photo itself - sorry - having a rough morning
Recommended you *not* post binaries to these newsgroup posts.
Does the file extension of the supposed photo have a program associated
with it for opening?
What is the file extension for the file in question?

sorry but i dont know the answer to your 2 questions
1. File names have two parts, before and after a dot (period.)
The second part ("extension") should be keyed to particular
computer applications, e.g. TXT to an editor, JPG to a picture
viewer/editor.
2. Picture files are coded, viz. "binary" files. (Text files like this are
coded in ASCII which is much simpler, only the alphabet and
punctuation marks.) These newsgroups are all-ASCII i.e. it is
no good our trying to post pictures in them.
3. Your first post requested interpretation of an error message
but you did not quote the error message in your ASCII text.
I'll just add one point to your accurate info above. Not to accuse
Dallas of anything, but attachments to E-mail and newsgroup messages
*can* be infected with malware. For that reason, whether they appear
to be binary or not, most of us here will not run the risk of opening
any attachments sent by participants here.
