It would have helped if you had included the model number of your Packard
Bell Imedia but I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I only asked for
'computer make and model'. That said, you can either post back with the
model number or go to this web site and ferret out the correct info
yourself.

Once you've located the Download page for your computer, download and
install the drivers listed under Video Component. Hopefully, once you have
the correct display adapters installed you'll once again have access to the
Standby feature.

Sounds like you need to install the latest driver for your display
adapter.
Check the computer or video card manufacturer's web site for a Download
section. You should be able to obtain the drivers there.

If you're not sure how to proceed, post back with the make and model of
your
computer and/or video card.
