It appears you can get Windows XP Service Pack 3 on a CD at:

I'd like to go from W2K to XP Pro. It looks like the typical upgrade package is no longer available from MS. I understand SP3 is the latest SP.Is this the way to go at this point <http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Windows-Professional-32-bit-Builders/dp/B0018RCAD4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1228447878&sr=8-1>

You don't want this version. From the site you posted above "Requires the use of Windows XP Pro SP3 Preinstallation Kit (not included) ." Do you have the "Preinstallation Kit" already? This is for system builders.

You want the XP Pro SP2 upgrade edition.

Pro SP3 is not available on a CD and probably won't be. You can purchase the SP 2 version and create a slipstreamed Pro XP 3 for the upgrade to your 2000 system.

Have you tried to go to the site you posted? While it shows a Microsoft Windows XP site, it says:
