Windows XP help

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

My computer became a victim of a power surge.I had another computer that I
purchased 3 years ago and haven't used. When I tried to initiate use I got a
message saying I had a corrupt file in my operating system. I didn't get the
Windows XP professional CD when I purchased this computer from Tiger Direct
the software was supposedly already loaded on. My son got the computer going
by installing a Windows XP home edition CD he had from a Dell product. But
nmow I can't register it because once again I have no CD. I do have the
product code for the Windows XP professional edition (that was corrupt) that
was supposedly installed on it. My question is: is there some place I can go
to download Windows XP professional and use my existing product code to
register it?
.
