Verify that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled. Make sure that firewalls are not preventing access to other machines.

I just set up another computer on my home network and from it I can't see any of my other computers.
I am running XP pro on this newly setup computer and am wondering what have I missed. My other computers all are able to see each other but not this one.

When I select 'my network places' - I see nothing. And it takes some time before it tells me that maybe I don't have permissions or something like that?

And when I select 'View Workgroup Computers' - I also see nothing.

I have set up the workgroup the same as my other computers. I just don't know where else to look.

Anyone please..
