When comparing mice, what specification pertains to the speed
capabilities of an optical mouse cursor, is it dpi?
(I want faster)
Thanks.
It's the DPI. Greater DPI means greater precision and faster motion on
the
screen as the same distance on the mousepad will produce greater distance
on the screen. Logitech has several mice with variable DPI. The newest,
the G9 goes up to 3200DPI and 65 inches per second, but is a bit pricey.
It will also keep up with up to 20G of acceleration, although that would
require quite a wrist snap. The G5 goes to 2400DPI.
