I am considering buying a new desktop running Vista.
Can I tranfer my accounts programs to a new pc eventhough
I dont have any orignal disks?I dont see setting my old HD as a slave as
being option
as the desktop I was looking at will be sata drives only. Thanks for some
advise.
Your programs cannot be transferred, they need to be freshly installed.
It's possible some of your apps would have to be upgraded to run on Vista...
though for the most part...most newer software should be OK
I guess you need to examine if you really need a new PC right now...
and if so, figure-in the price of purchasing the applications you'll need
.
