Hi,
First of all pardon me if this question is not in the right place.
I bought a Dell Inspiron 1000 a few years ago and it came preinstalled
with
Windows XP SP2 on it. Recently I have been having enormous trouble
installing updates such as Internet Explorer 7. I heard that it is
possible
to roll your computer back to the settings that it had when you first
bought
it, and I am unsure how to do that.
Does anyone else know?
You should consult the documentation that came with it, or if that's gone,
look on the Dell website for a handbook you can download...
